This year, I did none of the above. No buying old comic books, no partying, no listening to little kids. I just stayed home and could deal with that. And! I ate this nice Dutch pastry, an oranje tompouce. That really made my day :) I'm still at my parents, still recovering (which is taking much longer than I anticipated), and when my parents came home with their treasures after visiting the market on king's day, I felt like I hadn't really missed that much. Especially since you have to able to look so well with your eyes to see the nice stuff between all the junk of comic books, potato peelers and plastic toy cars.
Concerning the last blog... I was a little mysterious I think, about the whole "good Friday" meaning. Didn't want to sound too preachy on here :) If you're interested in more, if you want to know what some of Western culture is based on or what some peope groups even feel they should fight over, feel free to ask... And I'll feel free to babble about my opinion :)
