SO. Yesterday came the spectacular Moment. My friend had found a mountain a good drive away that was definitely not in the mist. A mountain with a cable car. Because of course there was no way that I was going to do any Kind of hiking like in the olden days. We drove down there, I enjoyed the beautiful Explosion of Color on all the trees, and then we drove to the start of the mountain where we parked. We laid down cash to take a good ole cable car I had never dreamed of taking. And up - up - up we went, 2500 meters, until we lifted - LIFTED straight INTO THE SUN!! wow. amazing. what a Feeling of bliss, to have sun rays on your cheeks and splashes of light on the snow that had fallen before. how amazing, to be SO high and to look down onto the clouds. Together with this black bird (let's stay in this Music genre :) it felt so, so good to be alive.
Some people have seen it on my Facebook. A spectacular Change of Profile Picture and Background photo! I've been here in Switserland since Monday night (which you can see by the annoying capitalization the Computer does if it recognizes a noun) and up to now, definitely the most spectacular Moment was yesterday. Since my Arrival on Monday night, fog has come into the Country and is hanging. It's frustrating to have surmounted such physical difficulties, to have pushed aside my principles and have flown :) to have gone through this hassle, to be in an incredibly beautiful place... but surrounded by mist. I've definitely been enjoying other things, such as the huge hospitality of my Swiss friend, or sitting at the table with a bunch of Swiss others, or eating lots of typical Swiss Food... but then, I suppose I was also just hoping to see mountains :)

"All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go... cause I'm leaving on a jetplane!" - tonight!! Yeah, good grief. It's a wild adventure that occurred to me over two months ago. Flying to a friend in Switserland, all by my lonesome self, to be with her a few days and fly back on Friday. Personally I was always of the opinion, that one shouldn't fly in Europe unless absolutely necessary. Because of climate things. Is it absolutely necessary now?! For my pride, yes :) For the rest, I'm not so sure. But my pride only feels an absolute necessity once. I'm dead nervous, flying all by myself. It'll probably be O.K. And anyways, God just told me he's right with me in my wheelchair and on the plane, so there's even more chance it'll be O.K.

Mattanja OosterhuisHaving grown up in diverse places on earth, I suppose I've learned to make the best of what comes my way. Such as a hemorrhage. After this bleeding in my head occurred in dec. 2010, my life has come to look different. On my blog I write about some of this. Archives
