There are many things to tell but I’ll try to keep this relatively short and readable :) First of all, I’m once again aspiring to use a new blogging thing. Feel free to e-mail me at mattanja (dot) oosterhuis (at) gmail (dot) com to ask if I have a new address or something, if you don’t see anything here for a while. I’m actually paying for this one, and the subscription will stop within the next few months.
Second I’m doing new, exciting things in fysiotherapy which assures me I can do this stuff in day-to-day life as well. These days I’m practicing to walk further and further alone, without help from walker or crutches. Up to now I’ve reached 500 meters which, well, isn’t 40 kilometers yet, but it’s a start.
Concerning the book, a professional someone read the thing and sent it back with comments which I’m processing. It appears the thing just might be finished before I’m 80! That’s exciting. My newest thought is not to go for an editor or two versions, but to make one that I feel good about and make that one available.
I mentioned the radiation therapy of course, about which I’ve heard absolutely nothing for quite some time now. I don't know if there's a date either, I don't know anything.
Then the last newsy tidbit I thought I’d share is that the time here at the community I live at (Timon in Amsterdam IJburg) is officially up in December of this year. If anyone has grand housing ideas (preferably not TOO far away from Amsterdam for my parents driving), I’d love to hear.
So long for now!
